Now I'm going to preface this by admitting that the first six Human Alliance toys are still stacked under my desk, waiting to be opened. And I haven't opened any of the DotM figures just yet (soon), so I've been trying to compare them through the packaging, which is admittedly not easy.

That said, it sure looks like the HA Basics have slightly smaller humans, something on the order of 5-10% smaller. Can anyone confirm or deny? Maybe a comparison pic?

I brought my josh duhamel from jazz to the store with me today to compare and I didnt find it too unacceptable a difference considering we as a species arent ALL the same height.

EDIT however that pic makes it look pretty bad...

Yeah, that's kind of rouch since Spike is clearly some sort of full grown soldier, and Shia is NOT particularly tall, and is supposed to be a teen in that figure incarnation.

I wonder if this will be the new size going forward for any new-mold "HA Voyager" class toys as well...

Uh, voyagers aren't in scale with other voyagers. How is some random human fig going to be in scale with all the voyagers?

These new HA figs are no more in scale with voyagers, across the board, than the old HA figs.

really wish they had not stopped using flesh colored plastic for skin and the mid torso joint. Both are def missed. The original shia is still the best HA human I've got.

I like the fact the my spike w. is smaller than my epps since all humans are different heights in real life.
