looking great so far and great idea! I for one loved the 70s bee and would love to see more bots or even cons for that matter in the next set of movie take on older car and truck alt modes. It just feel a bit more realistic that not every TF would take on sweet looking alt mode or all these concept car modes lol

Looking good! Of course I'm a little biased because I just wish '76 Camaro Bumblebee got more love than he does.

Yeah, where do they find the concept cars to scan, anyway? Like does NEST just hook everyone up with kick-ass sports cars and such? How would that conversation go?

anonymous government man:"Hey can I borrow your expensive concept cars for a little bit?"

    anonymous GM employee:"Why?"

goverment man:"The secret giant robots said our Humvees look like crap."

    GM employee:"What?"

government man:"That question was purely rhetorical, I work for the US government, I can do whatever I want.'

GM employee:"But what was that about giant robots again?"

government man:"Just give me the cars."

GM employee:"But what were you say-"

    (government man holds up gun.)

GM employee:"YES SIR, RIGHT AWAY SIR!"

    Wikkid,

76 Camaro kits where made. I have one It copy righted some time in the late 70's. I used to think the same thing though about them not being made. The 79 model you used is depending on taste a better looking version of that 2nd gen body style,So they still make that mold. Enough harping though......

Good to see some one do this! know of your past work, I know tis will come out awesome when done!

Hey d00ds. Could joo guys that found the 76 Camaro kits check an see if they are 1/24 scale or 1/25. I've been googlin an googlin and haven't found any in 1/24. A 1/25 might work but it wouldn't be a direct re-shell as the 1/24 is fairly tight. (Mostly in the wheel/gear chain thing anchoring point)

I can check the scale of it out for yah. I got mine off ebay. Not the cheapest kit either. It a sweet one though. Comes with alot of customizing parts for the front and rear of the car. Anyway, I will get back to you on the scale. Making the bumpers for that car wouldn't be the worst. Nothing to special about them really.

    Later.

It's 1/25th scale.... So the 1/24th your working with now is slightly bigger and the better option for what you are doing.

been working on this again. Need to get some opinions.

^^ I wanted to add the collars that were seen on the 2010 Camaro version but not the 76 just for the sake of detail. If they look fail, say so and I'll just have the cowl fold away with the windshield.

^^This will also feature the original seats that have been designed to fold and sit behind the arms. these seats will be beige and may stand out when in robot mode. Should a d00d change their color or just use the cyber looking seats instead?

Not feeling the ascot around the neck there.

As for the seats, and them standing out in beige....I guess you have to ask yourself, you want realism or not.....I'd say go for realism and rock the beige seats.

Not feelin the collar much myself - I'd say tuck it with the windshield....

IMHO - I think flipping the calves around backwards would give you more options to make better calves, if it's possible to flip them during transformation.

All, in all - you've done a great job & I keep watching this project eagerly!
