Well the Hulk vs. Wolverine is apparently like 40 minutes long and contains pretty much no story. It was not received well when it was shown at Comic-Con. Probably going to pass.

I'll Netflix it, for sure. Hulk SMASHing for 80-90 minutes? What's not to like?

I also thought Next Avengers was quite good.

Next Avengers is the new hotness.
It was way better than I thought a show about "Avengers Kids" would ever be and was, for me, an indication that the Marvel animated guys were really hitting their stride.

I don't know what has been reported about either of the Hulk VS films but I liked what I saw in each one. Hulk, Wolverine, Deadpool -it can be pretty light in the story as far as I'm concerned.

    Fun Fact #1:
I unwrapped the DVD and put it in the Xbox.
The trailer for Hulk X Wolverine came up and I was saying Wolverine's lines right along with Steve Blum.
My kid looked at me said "How did you know what he was going to say?"

    Fun Fact #2:
The kid finally understands that Superman is a DC character and Hulk is a Marvel character and that is why there is no Hulk X Superman film -but that is the one he really wants to see.
He thinks that the Hulk would win because Superman would pull his punches and not realize that he was making the Hulk angrier and therefore stronger.

It's great to see clarity develop in the boy regarding such important worldly matters.

    Fun Fact #3:
Tomorrow I am going to buy the FF cartoon box set just so I can see a progressive scan version of the Hulk fight the Thing.
Rockman make fun of Hulk's mommy! = pure win

    Fun Fact #4:
The above three facts were not much fun.
    My apologies.

    Fun fact #5
    Neither were #4 or #5

Anyhoo, I'll pick them up most likely. I enjoyed all the other Marvel animated films. Are these sold Seperately or are they two short stories on one set?

I believe it's supposed to be the latter. Each story is only 40-45 minutes, I think.

It'd be awesome if both companies got together and did an animated movie based on that Marvel vs DC/DC vs Marvel comic book series they did a few years ago. Maybe even an Amalgam follow-up too.

Marvel vs. DC, I remember that. The fans got to vote, and unfortunately, the fans voted for Superman instead of Hulk. And as much as I love the Hulk, I agree that Superman should win the fight. But the comic made Superman win out of sheer strength, which I disagree with. Punching contest: Hulk wins, no question. But that's the comics. Your talking movie, so let's take movie Supes vs. Movie Hulk. I think Hulk pounds the living shit out of Superman.

Do you remember the other fights? I remember Batman/Captain America and Storm/Wonder Woman and Namor/Aquaman.

As far as Hulk vs. goes, I hope the story is good enough, and it continues. Hulk vs. Fantastic Four, Hulk vs. Rhino, Hulk vs. Juggernaut. ("I'm the Juggernaut, bitch!" "Hulk make Juggernaut bitch!")

    Lessee:

    Bats beat Cap.
    Storm beat WW.
    Aquaman beat Namor.
    Spider-Man beat Superboy.
    Wolverine beat Lobo.
    Silver Surfer beat GL.

Um... I think there were three more. I seem to remember a total of 10, with voting taking place on 5 of them. Voting matches were Supes/Hulk, Bats/Cap, Spidey/S-Boy, Wolverine/Lobo, and... WW/Storm?

EDIT: Thanks to Wikipedia, I am now reminded that there were 11 total matches. The other 4 were Robin/Jubilee, Elektra/Catwoman, Thor/Captain Marvel, and Flash/Quicksilver. (Winners listed first.)

At any rate, Storm beating WW is TOTAL nonsense, especially since Diana was shown kicking Storm in the head. That should've ended the fight right there -- Ororo's head would've been found 3 states over.

Wolverine also shouldn't have been able to beat Lobo. It was just a popularity contest. They couldn't even bring themselves to show the fight on-panel.

I also think GL should've beaten Surfer and Cap should've beaten Batman.

Wow... got pretty ubergeeky there, didn't I?

They didn't even bother to show that one either. Just one panel showing the Surfer as victorious. Of course that was Kyle Rayner he fought. Were it Hal instead, I think the outcome would've been different.

I still wish to hell they would've done a Steel vs Iron Man fight.

    YouTube - Hulk Vs. Trailer

New trailer- Looks nice with Frank Matsuda doing the designs of the Wolverine segment and the Thor segment looks well animated.
