Hugo Weaving returns to Middle Earth in 'Hobbit' – The Marquee Blog - CNN.com Blogs
Was there ever any doubt that he wouldn't?
you never know. sometimes actor are not be able to reprise their roles
All hail Megatron!
They use some sort of computer enhancement on the voice recordings, correct? I only ask because when I hear Megatron talk, he doesn't sound anything like Hugo Weaving to me.
I think it was fairly obvious he was going to return to voice Megatron, but at least we've gotten official confirmation.
Sorry but this isn't news if we kinda figured this out after ROTF came out.
The obvious has been stated.
I'm just glad we got confirmation and that they didn't give the role to someone else.
And no one was surprised at all.
Not a big deal, but yay!
I always liked Weaving for Megs in the TF movies. That was kinda one of the little details that were even in ROTF good.
The confirmation is nice, I was going through the wiki last night and thought it was odd that Meg's voice actor still hadn't been mentioned in official capacity.
I beg to differ. His natural voice does poke through whatever alterations they may have made, particularly in that bit where he and Starscream converse with the Fallen on board the Fallen's ship.
I mean, I guess it's good to know, but it's not like it actually sounds like him anyway. There are only a handful of instances from the 2 movies where I can say that it honestly sounds like Weaving talking.
Woah. HUGE spoiler man!
Last I checked, we knew that Hugo was VA for Megatron...LOOOOOOOOOOONG ago!
I'd be surprised if anyone didn't return to voice their character if they are able to. Except for Peter Cullen, I can't see anyone needing more then a day to record all their lines. Easy paycheck.
Gotta disagree. There were a few times while watching the movies where I halfway expected him to finish off a sentence with "Mr. Anderson..."
Yeah, I love Hugo Weaving as Megatron
