Just having a look over at Seibertron, and they've come across an interview with Hugo Weaving in which he confirms that he'll be returning to voice the resurrected Megatron in Revenge of the Fallen.

Here's the link, and the quote:
So there we are. Nothing in there plot-wise that we haven't been told or worked out ourselves, but it's nice to hear confirmation that Weaving will be back. Continuity FTW! :thumbs2:

That's nice to hear. I'd rather them stick with him doing Megatron's voice than switch to someone else.

Excellent. Weaving did a great job as Megatron in the first movie and I'm glad to hear he'll be back for ROTF. Hopefully, Megatron will get a bit more dialogue in this one, so we'll get to hear more of Weaving's performance.

I hope he doesn't just show up for the final act, like in the first movie.

Yay! He is back. I wouldnt like if MEgatron's voice change for the second movie, Weaving did a great work in the first one.

I think his voice was alright in the first movie, but I hated how he whispered a lot of stuff... there wasn't much emotion there at all.

I hope he does a much better job in the second film.

excellent! this is great 2 here! it would have sucked if they had changed his voice. and, unfortunately, Michael bay was right, welker's voice dose not fit on this megatron. but weaving is just as good. cant waite 2 c him in the movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another vote for Frank Welkner. I'm not impressed with Hugo as a casting choice.
I held out hope Meggy's "death" would have changed his voice.

I had a hunch that Weaving was going to return to be the voice of Megatron and there are some that was hoping it would have been Welker. But maybe there is a chance that Welker will still be the voice of Soundwave.
