Greg Bear is a science fiction writer with "a few" awards on his belt. I'm glad they gave it to someone who knows what he's doing.

Halo's story has always been very weak, actually most of the times nonsical especially how its told.

But if people enjoy them power to them, at least he might be able to make it work.

Have you played the entire trilogy? Or at least watched all the cutscenes? I thought it was very coherent.

Yep and i thought it was a jumbled mess. Especially Halo 3's storyline, everything was a tad too vague for me. I don't mind thinking for myself when it comes to a story but when its too vague it defeats its point.

That's cool. One thing I liked about Bungie's attitude with the Halo novels is that they accept the books as cannon.
