So did you guys see this auction

It's an awesome collection by far, and it's times like these that makes me wish I had a time machine.

Right now the bidding seems a little suspicious, tho. :sly:

Yeah the guy was trying to sell it on here and had an offer from a local guy for 25k but I'm guessing he thought he might be able to get more for it. It's a fantastic collection. Altho I do see what you're saying about the bidding

Would be nice to see a itemized list and close up pics.

He has pics listed on there via a link I thought. I'm not sure it's shill bidding. He's had several people do offers and they may never have used ebay. Who knows. He'll I'm tempted to take a loan against my 401k for this lol

    Hey guys,

Yeah, I did feel it was worth a bit more than the local guy offered and I can't tell you the number of times I was pm'd by people to say that I should really break up the collection if I wanted to make any "real money."

Likewise, I'm a little leery of such early bids from bidders with low/no feedback but trying to take it with a grain of salt. More to the point, I'm not really sure how I can refute the suggestion of shill bidding. If I were the kind of person to do it, I suppose I'd also be the kind of person to lie and say that I wasn't, so I'm SOL beyond saying that I'm not that kind of guy.

To respond to tamo536, there is an itemized list of everything that's boxed/carded in a link in the ebay listing. I'm still in the process of cataloging all of the loose figures in the photos and will post that if/win I finish, before blindness sets in. (I've been going through cases of accessories and comparing to instruction manuals to match them to the owners).
