you may have overpaid a little but they will hold there value and some with likely go up , such as the Ultra Magnus/Skywarp two pack and the Cliffjumper.

I say you may have over paid a little as i am not certain of the value on the Prime/Magnus two pack so i made best guess ( $150) when making my calculations.

    Ebay:
Wow, are they really in that much of a demand?
So glad I brought them when released even if it was at over inflated local store prices.

Here's my guess on how the $1045 is broken down:

    Cost Item
    ---- -----
    175 ultra magnus/skywarp
    175 optimus prime/ultra magnus?
    65 JetFire
    60 Megatron
    35 Grimlock
    50 Sunstreaker
    40 Astrotrain
    45 starscream
    75 Optimus prime
    70 Classics Mirage
    75 CliffJumper
    40 Bumblebee
    70 Rodimus
    70 Ramjet

Normally, when buying a set, there is some kind of discount. But looking at those prices it looks like there is no discount and the prices on each item are 'ebay' prices (e.g. high).

The shipping of $100 to the US seems high too? Unless he plans to ship it TFSource style with strong boxes, bubble wrapping each figure, etc.

Also, the part of his description where he says "If you are looking for perfect and untouched condition item with no flaw at all, please do not bid on this item" and "Pls rely on the pictures provided, sold as it" concerns me. The auction is implying MISB right?

It seems to be but all its says is Unopened , it never says MISB/MOSC. It could be the seller is unfamiliar with those terms or in his eyes the packaging is some what less than mint. I know if i was dropping that kind of cash i'd want close up pics of each of them.

Ouch that's a little overpriced but then again I'm not one to criticize impulse buys.

*is guilty of the same thing*

Ouch, that is a lot over priced. Not sure where people are getting these figures from.

I have a simple rule that I followed. My figures need to be around $30 and not really more. I remember when I first started collecting classics in November of last year, I did a 16 figure deal for $460. I thought that was a lot at the time. Those were all MISB, and I eventually opened all of them and display all of them.

Sorry to say but this is really high EBay prices. You probably could have saved yourself like $400-$500 with some patience and by purchasing from people on this board. Probably not the answer you want to hear, but it is true.

Overpriced if you're trying to flip but average if you're collecting. Not really the best deal but not the worst.

Yeah seems kind of overpriced. If you looked around a bit, you could've gotten a better deal.

Honestly, i've been pricing out a lot of Classics in the past couple weeks, and you basically paid going rate for most of them. If you were going to buy them all anyways, you would have paid that eventually to get them all MOSC/MISB. Unless you found some great deals here in the Junkion. That Ultra Magnus/Optimus Prime twin pack is going for around 200.00 no matter where you find it. And thats IF you can find one.

That lot, in my opinion, is only worth $800 on the high end.

Also depends on where you are located. If you are outside the US where shipping really racks up then the deal's okay.
