Or just a misused word? See for yourself and you decide. *JUST IN CASE...YOU"VE BEEN WARNED!!* S P O I L E R S P A C E http://news.teamxbox.com/xbox/14507/Halo-3-Believe-Commercials-Museum/ If that's true...I wish I hadn't read it.
eli whitney's nose! ehhhh i dont play but sucks for those who get engulfed in the story and not the shooting of close friends in the face aspect of the game
honestly, I've always kinda thought they would kill MC off in the last one, but I'm thinking thats a misused word in that paragraph
Yeah they were speculating about this weeks ago. Bungie says that its just the MS marketing division going nuts and the MC will not necessarily die. Even the latest Game Informer has a Ad giving off a MC death tone. I really dont know. Maybe he will?? I doubt MC will be able to always just pull it out of his ass to destroy the Halos and maybe this time he has to stay on the ring in order to destroy it?
I don't know if you realize this or not, but Master Chief is a man. he won't live forever. The text on screen in the video specifies the soldier served until 2581. Chief was born in 2511. So when this guy left the military, Chief would have been 70 years old. Since this guy is clearly quite old, I'm going t guess this video takes place well into 2600s. So yeah, Master Chief might die in the game, or he might just have died by the time he was 80+ years old, like most people who die of old age do.
Man, if he died, and it would be done in the most epic way possible , that would be quite an ending. Thing about MC is that Halo displays him as "more than a man". Even one of the characters in the novel looks up to MC as a living legend, like an ancient greek hero. That's one reason why I like MC so much despite his personality being that of a cardboard box.
I'm not sure if this is directed at any particular post, but just because he's human does not mean he is bound by human traits. He's a fictional character that can technically 'live' forever. Comic book heroes have been around for decades yet most of them haven't aged a day.
Well how about this, then? http://kotaku.com/gaming/gallery/halo-diorama-may-tour-country-299470.php Frankie says the ad campaign was done by an outside firm who doesn't know the ending of the game and they aren't considered canon.
The advertising Microsoft is doing for Halo 3 is phenomenal. Alot of time, effort and thought are being put into game.
the "making of" monument video says the project was started in 2607 and completed in 2610. Even if if John 117 is in his 40s when Halo starts, I think expecting him to hit 100 after so many battles is pushing it.
