So, for the last week or so, I've been busy at work, and at home, on this little project. I work daily at a print shop and have access to this nifty HP DesignJet 42" poster maker. It can print anywhere up to 42" wide, by up to a full roll of paper coming in at about 100'. So, after a few attemtps, and some heavy photoshop work, I came up with this..

As you can see by the ruler there, it comes in at 42" tall, and measures exactly 100" wide, in full color at 150bits resolution on a thick heavy coated poster paper. I'm debating selling these, putting them out to you guys, if there seems to be a general interest. I can do prints basically of any matter, any subject and at almost any size. I can also make nifty shirts, mouse pads etc. Anyways, there you go. If anyone is perhaps interested in buying one, definitely feel free to contact me.

A Decepticon version with Unicron is also now under works.

Yeah, you might not wanna offer to sell these things. Cool as hell as they are.
I had kinkos print one for me once that I made and they almost didn't do it because of copyright issues. I almost had to beg them. They really shouldn't have, but they did anyway. hehe

Fan art has always been kind of a grey area in copyrights, but you might have to get Hasbro's OK

That's pretty badass. Shouldn't Six-Gun be bigger, or is he really far away? Is that Scamper right there by his shoulder?

Looks cool, but Skyfire looks kinda funny just floating up there all by himself. Also, the split on the left side between the groupings from Punch to Hot Rod and the Dinobots looks odd too. Other than that, looks superb! :)

Looks nice, but there's a lot of empty space there in the middle. Add in Fortress Maximus maybe?

The composition needs to be worked on.
Needs to be balanced a bit...especially on the left side where the robots are sloping up on an angle.

    Cool idea though.

And who is that chick in your sig, WCP?!?!

It's not a single artist. The images are taken from Dreamwave's "More Than Meets The Eye" profile books and were drawn by Pat Lee, Don Figueroa, Guido Guidi, Dan Khanna, Makoto Ono, Joe Ng and a few others.

Unfortunately, half the images look craptacular, especially those ridiculous "Hey, you stole my purse, give it back to me" poses and the misproportioned ones.

I hope that the next profile book, assuming there will ever be one, will return to model sheets with plain standing poses. I'm not too keen on the undetailed Marvel designs from the old TFU books, but the poses were definitely better.

Who drew the Sideswipe profile for MTMTE? Don? That's one of the better poses.
