HAHA. I always thought they were pretty cool. The parts do work pretty good for the movie figures though. Especially when you take them apart and use there limbs all over the place!!! I also used that stupid cyborg rhino guy. HAAHAH!! Well, my wife thinks so But about the customs, I just spend every free second I can on them. We are going to take a two week vacation so I gotta get a few of these out of my system!!!
Got the skeleton near complete. Pretty much waiting on the head and painting details along with finishing up adding the chopper parts.
looking good dude! there was a huge hi-res photo I sent you, you going off that? here's other good pics of him: http://usuarios.lycos.es/toxicoyeah7/blackout.jpg http://transformers2007.nl/Transfor...out/transformers-blackout-1600x1200-color.bmp
Looks freakin sweet so far Bro! What are you using for the robot guts? Looks like stuff from those cyber spawn figures but I am not sure.
Still have a pretty long way to go with this guy. Painting, more add ons, base and stand. I am also trying to figure out a few cool "special features"
Ask n you shall Recive Srry it was the best pics i could find. GREAT GOGGA MOGGA! lol Now that is one Hell of a Blackout soo far! hes one SCARY BOT! n hes not even doen yet! See we needed to get a Blackout like that but unfortantly we didnt Well soo far its pretty amazing encline
I like it. It looks like you're having a lot of fun on this one. I do think in trying to maximize the height, you've sacrificed some of the overall look and feel of the actual movie design. Blackout is pretty bulky and wide. I think you may have gone more for height, which throws the proportions off a bit. The top half is very nice. I do think the rotor blades should face down a bit more, but overall, the upper half is heading in the right direction. I think that if you replace the waist/hips area, it would better reflect the look of the movie design. You will loose the stretched out look, which I think would serve this project well. You'll notice that on the movie design, Blackout's hands come down to his knees. I think yours can too if the waist/hips are reduced a bit more. I also think the thighs and lower legs need to be bulked up and widened. Since this is only 60% done, I'll assume the remaining 40% addresses this. I've got a 1:48 scale Blackout in the works myself. I really look forward to seeing your Blackout completed.
The lower half is the major issue I am having to work on. I have ordered some more parts for him. Espicially the feet and shin area. Thanks for the notes. Thanks to everyone else!! And yes, techno spawn series and cyber units are great for the movie parts!!!!!!
this is looking awesome. IMO, I think one of the coolest things about prime were the LEDs all over the place. Give BO some LEDs and you'll be golden.
Very nice, seems like your best one yet, though the lower body is off. And now I want to redo my own Blackout, damn you! *Shakes fist*
Looking great so far! I can make out all the Spawn Interlink parts in there too, very cool modding them in!
