My favourite idea here is the "ninja" repaint of Scrap-Metal's head (the back of his head, of course)... great call! :)

I think you meant Alpha Trion (Vector Sigma is just a ball on a stand). It looks nice though:)

Haha, yeah my bad, thanks. I get confused with all the vector alpha's these days. It's what i get for rushing my post

SMOG- Thanks man, using the back of his head was'nt planned at all. Never noticed he had a face plate thing going on back there until painting it.
I figured I was the last person noticing it lol

Nice work; I particularly like your Alpha Trion, possibly better than the the 'official' one.
The only thing that's missing in my book is the face - Vector Prime looks like the Last Autobot, far more than he does Alpha Trion.

If you're interested in modding it, though, and you have a spare E-Bulkhead/Quickstrike head (or can get hold of one), it's not too hard to change that... ;)

That face swap looks good RR, thanks for the info. I mainly just painted the mustache white
Does Bulkheads face screwhole match up with the back of vector's head screwhole?
Or did you have to shave some pieces and use some glue?

I have a spare Bulkhead, and If I can find a good Springer head for him, then I'll swap his face to Alpha Trion.

Bulkhead into Springer was another mod I always wanted to do but never got around too it

It's not a straight 'unscrew the halves and swap 'em' job; I did have to do some filing and gluing - besides which the two heads attach to their respective bodies completely differently.

I also used a bit of styrene to pad out the neck and make a new swivel for it. The beard's made from a little piece of thin styrene sheet.

That's a litle more work than I was hoping :lol
But after seeing yours It looks like all the trouble was worth it.

Ihav'nt worked with styrene yet, but making a beard for him seems like a good start to get some practice in.
Id like to have his head ball jointed so he can look around, but I dont realy want the joint showing, may look odd.

making a beard and a headcrest for my A3 from VP was my first foray into Styrene, so I don't see you having a problem with it :)
