Eradicon? Where did you see him?

 

Soundwave has a Cylon vibe to him, or is it just me?

 

Soundwave would have made an awesome Jetstorm. Hopefuly he'll get good characterization, but his bioo says he doesn't speak too much.

I'll reserve judgement until I see the first couple of episodes.

 

It's as if they knew they wanted to make a Slipstream toy somewhere down the line, so they just went ahead and made Starscream incredibly girly from the outset.

I'm all for that Soundwave, though.

 

I like the G2 homage Soundwave brings.

I like all these designs! Soundwave's wraith appearance is fantastic. Decepti-wraiths!

 

Their image 'gallery' makes my head hurt, I click on a pic of soundwaves alt mode and get his bot mode... wut.  

From what I can see most of these designs look ok, anorexic mecha are starting to grate a little but it's the trend. Starscream and Bulkhead have fantastic altmodes, starscream is let down by his bot mode though whereas bulkhead is awesome throughout, do want.

 

If we only get 1 toy from this it had better dern well be Bulkhead!

 

The designs are ok.

And apparently from the comments I have read, Frank Welker and Peter Cullen cannot save transformers.

 

I will say this, there is more to characterization than speaking. Look at how much character movie Bee has without saying a single word.

You know what would be really cool is if they did a whole episode that was Soundwave and Bee that didn't have a single word uttered all episode. The whole story is done via pantomime.

 

Soundwave looks... odd. However, Bulkhead's awesome design more than makes up for it.  

 

Only his vehicle mode, it's in one of the image sections, it says Eradicon under the car picture. I presume it's the Decepticon trooper/cannon fodder bots.

 

Lookin' great so far. I really like when they try new designs for old characters. Soundwave looks like an orbital frame from Zone of the Enders, and that's a good thing! This show has me excited, animated was great for what it was but I'm liking the more mature feel of these designs.

 

How about a "ruined forever" for good measure?

Coincidentally, they show his 'bot mode off to the side in the background of the page.


Also, now that I've seen a pic (albeit a tiny one) of Soundwave's alt. mode, I'm very interested in seeing a toy of him.

 

Lovin' the autobots. Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhrrrgghhhhh'n the Decepticons. One spindly guy is alright, more than one and it turns into a creeper fest. Breakdown will probably be more of the con muscle.

At least Soundwave doesn't have to worry about Prime taking his face. He doesn't seem to have one.

 

Bulkhead is the only one i would buy as a figure. I really hat the starscream and soundwave desighns they look so weak and sickly

 

That's be awesome! One of the best episodes of Buffy ever was 'Hush' hardly a word spoken the entire episode.

 

Anyone else notice that the two new designs opt for a more cel shaded look?
