You must not have tried many of the ones that came out after the 1st wave. They were mostly great.

If you mean 6 inchers, I have G1 Magnus, Rodimus, WW Megs, and The Fallen. Of the lot, the only one I really like is Rodimus, and I'm still pretty "meh" on it. I think the line as a whole is shoddy.

I think they're OK as display pieces, but as toys you can actually mess around with, when compared to "main-line" stuff, due to engineering, they fall short for me.

It's all just a matter of taste!

I ordered Optimal Optimus, RiD Prime, and Scourge though, since with the promo code they're just around 7 bucks. I heard the Optimus' were decent, and the Scourge will at least look decent around the Decepticon Classics. Also got the 3 inch Thundercracker.

That plus the free Spider-Spud for about 40 dollars. Not bad IMO, considering the three 6 inch Tits at retail would've cost more.

Yeah my opinion on them is pretty much that. I have those and a couple of others. Some like The Fallen (or Cheetor imo) look cool in bot mode but the alt modes and the way they are flimsy and don't hold together well makes them feel sloppily engineered and molded.

In any event, here's to shipping to Canada in the future!

Really? Well, like you said, it's a matter of taste. I love the weight of them, and I love the die-cast when it's cool. I have four now - Jetfire, Thundercracker, Rodimus and Scourge. While the transformations aren't complex at all, I find them to be rather satisfying (well, with the exception of Scourge)... despite the fact that I normally love more complex transformations. These guys (Thundercracker especially) remind me of a more complex, more articulated G1.

I'm not wild about how loose Rodimus and Jetfire are in vehicle mode, but Jetfire just has this really awesome aesthetic to him that really does it for me... that, of course, is just my opinion. Rodimus... my only complaints are no rubber tires, and the too-forward-placed shoulders and head. Otherwise, (aside from the aforementioned looseness of the alt mode) he's a miniature version of what would be the perfect Rodimus Prime for me.

I hope these guys hang around until I have some money... I really want that Magnus. :)

I was gonna get Scourge, but seeing that I'd still be paying $16 for it... I passed.
