Side tracking but, that's not really a correct interpretation of Dreamwave's sales. DW's first TFG1 miniseries had amazing and consistently high sales numbers. It remained the top book in sales for it's hole 6-issue run. You might be thinking of G1 Vol.2, were sales did plummet after the first issue. This was pretty much due to the writing, it was a book that was really only enjoyable/understandable for transfans(Basically pandering to transfans with nothing but trivia references, cameos and no real story) so all the other types of readersthat had enjoyed the first volume dropped teh book after reading Vol.2 #1 Here's the sales info, the First volume sales #'s don't include reorders & reprints, and so are a bit lower than they actually ended up being. TFG1 Vol.1 (preorder sales, about %10 lower than the final actual sales) #1 128,200 (#1 in sales) #2 124,100 (#1 in sales) #3 141,100 (#1 in sales) #4 135,100 (#2 in sales, lost to TF Armada #1) #5 131,100 (#1 in sales) #6 127,500 (#1 in sales) TFG1 Vol.2 (actual sales) #1 111,700 (#2 in sales) #2 73,800 (#11 in sales) #3 67,300 (#9 in sales) #4 64,600 (#17 in sales) #5 62,400 (#17 in sales) #6 63,000 (#23 in sales, minor jump due to incentive cover) TFG1 Vol.3 (actual sales) #1 57,500 (#17 in sales) #2 44,700 (#36 in sales) #3 41,200 (#44 in sales) #4 43,100 (#43 in sales, minor jump due to incentive cover) #5 37,700 (#49 in slaes) #6 36,200 (#49 in slaes) #7 34,800 (#54 in sales) #8 31,900 (#76 in sales) #9 31,300 (#69 in sales) #10 29,700 (#74 in sales) info grabbed from www.cbgextra.com
How have they treated Hot Rod? I heard they weren't going to mess with many outside the first two seasons when they started.
The Hearts of Steel series is pretty good. grabbed most of it (no #1, damn), and was rather impressed. It was fun to see the TFs in the Industrial revolution.
