Like if you wanted to know what channel Transformers used to come on in let's say Bozeman, Montana or Myrtle Beach, SC. How would you find that out?

Maybe try contacting a station directly that you think might have aired it.

I can tell you who originally aired G1 here in the metro Detroit area, WXON Channel 20. I remember it quite vividly.
Not sure if that helps you or not.

I know in south Florida it was WCIX Channel 6 out of Miami. I'll never forget that. :)

In Dayton, OH, it was WRGT, Channel 45. an independent channel back then, but would later become a Fox affiliate.

In Southern Minnesota it was WGN, Chicago. Interrupted by baseball constantly.
