I'd just go with flashbacks, really. The guy's dead, turned into a zombie and exploded. He ain't coming back.

    Flashbacks are the logical choice.

Let him stay dead. bringing back dead characters, cheapens the death process.

I totally agree with both ideas.

    Especially the 2nd idea.

Starscream uses the Harbinger's lab and a stolen protoform to clone him as part of some half-baked scheme. Arcee finds the fake Cliffjumper and thinks she's gone crazy. Later she finds out he's a clone, and rejects him for being an abomination. All the while, the fake Cliffjumper has to try and come to terms with being a knock-off of someone else.

It would provide character development for Arcee and add a lot of drama to the show, and it wouldn't "cheapen" Cliffjumper's death because it's not really him.

That would make for an interesting story, and the best part is....technically its not really Cliffjumper.

If starscream finds more protoforms and can find any remains of cliffy, then yes.

    otherwise, use these:

I wouldn't be surprised considering the writers like to have Starscream remind us that he killed Cliffjumper every chance he gets.

I wouldn't. There's no point to bringing him back. Would just make his death even more meaningless...

what about an alternate timeline where Cliffjumper managed to escape but Arcee died in his stead. This alternate timeline is where Unicron won and had turned Megatron into his brainwashed minion Galvatron and all the Autobots in the universe of the alternate timeline save Cliff are dead (presumaly all the humans as well). Cliffjumper is doing is best to prevent Unicron and Galavtron getting their hands on the matrix and he travelled to this timeline to escape Unicron and Galvatron

I like that. Why because I think Cliffjumper is the only bot he ever killed and he does like to boast about how great he is to kill someone.

At the very least the only "big name" Autobot. I'd be genuinely surprised if the Autobots didn't have their own Vehicons.

"Yes, Mechanic, I would like you to clone me a car out of the shift knob."
