We've seen preview pics of Swoop's robot mode, and it appears that the wings detach from his arms and hang down his back like a cape or insect wings when he transforms. What I'm curious about is how (or if) this'll be the case for the toy, because it would be a bit hard to detach and reattach the wings when they seem to be rather thin. Maybe they'll use pegs or something?
To me, it seems like they're attached to the arms (and back). Even if what you said was true, it wuldn't be difficult with a ball joint or hinge. Looking at his cartoon model again, he actually transforms a lot more than I thought originally. (the legs coming from the chest, the shouders, etc.)
WIN Anyway, to aid discussion could someone repost the art? I can't remember any details/nuances of it.
Best guess at transform based on cartoon drawings (which only means so much to a toy) - front and back halves of dino head separate for robot head and chest. - wing 'membranes' separate from arms and go to back, maybe folding into a capelike form. - dino legs extend/unfold to robot legs. It appears the thighs of the robot mode snug up along the sides of the body in dino mode. There could be more (or less) to it on the toy, but that's what seems apparent from matching details between robot and pterosaur modes.
