How well was RID Landfill/CR Build King received back then?

    Speak of the devil, I was watching Peaugh's review earlier today and wanted it. I never saw it as a kid but now I kinda want it and again regret never getting any toys back then

    Rumours have it that Build King and JRX were designs made for their Brave line that had stopped only a few years before Car Robots. Even God Fire Convoy feels like a Brave toy. The anime itself also feels Brave like. If the Decepticons/Predacons used generic monsters of the week to wreak havoc then it WOULD have been a Brave series.

    If this thread isn't proof enough, it's a love it or hate it toy. I personally liked it a lot, since I got two versions (yellow and normal, not Devastator), and it was nice and innovative. I can see why some don't love it, but I think it was great.
