As the title says, are they selling or shelf-warming in your area?
They seem to be selling quite well actually. It helped that Transformers seemed to go away a bit beforehand and all the old stock on the shelves was there for an eternity.
man, way too early to tell. my stores dont even have everything there is yet
One local Target has all the robovision primes and leaders sold out, but I suspect they didn't receive many cases. Other local Targets seem to be selling through all size classes quite briskly. Voyagers seem to be moving at the same rate at all stores, most are down to 3 or 4 on the shelf.
i was in target buying one of each prime and got the last of each prime i found! i was shopping with my fiancee and we ran into a couple who were probly in their 30's buying tf toys for him and his kids!
selling wel lin all the places i've seen
so-so here. We have mainly puzzles, FAB's, protoforms, Leader Primes, voyagers, protoforms, keychains, the blasters, prime helmets, cyber stompers and robot heroes. I rang out a prime helmet, voyager starscream and a real gears. While one guy bought Optimash and some robot heroes the past saturday. So I'd say warming the shelves.
There selling really well at my local target. And there always stocked so its really awsome.
Deluxes have been sold out at both my local target, and one of the targets actually has rain checks for real gear!
I wento 2 Targets and a Toysrus and all of them were wiped pretty much clean, minus like one or two voyagers. The deluxe figures were all gone.
@ the TRU in Times Square, NY NY -
Wave 1 (??) Deluxe figures selling out easy. Barricade is kinda hard to find. Bonecrusher and Wreckage are left behind.
As are scads of OP and SS protoforms. Those things are just takin' up space. So far they also only have Voyager Ratchet and Blackout. A fair amount of those left too. The FABs seem to move quite well, they expanded their shelf space.
Aw shit, can't wait for Voyager SS so I can kitbash it into ... SlimScream!
Stores in my area have not even got the movie figures yet.
Over all? Dunno. All I know for sure is that my local TrU got in a whole wall of them, and all that's left are a few Voyagers a couple Prime's and the Protoforms.
My local Target has been picked clean of Voyagers and Robovision Prime. I have rain checks for both. Its also down to few deluxe figures and real gear was totaly gone. WM is stuffed though doesn't seem like they are selling anything.
Tales from Europe: There was a huge ammount of TF movie figures over at a local toy shop... Most of it was sold out within a couple of days. The only things left standing were:
- 1 x unleashed BB
- 2 x Prime's helmet
I've noticed that all of Prime's helmets feature Cullen's voice.
I even looked at the label on the side and it said: "phrases from the movie" and that was it. No "with the voice of Peter Cullen" on it, so I assume that Europe gets Cullen and not Chalk.
i get my first pay check from my new job so i am excited i get to go out and finally buy movie figures
A load of FAB's have vanished from my local Woolies, as well as most of the Loc figures. The Voyagers aren't moving, but there's only a choice of two here anyway!
Sounds like what happens around here, the small toys sell out quickly. Voyagers and anything bigger don't move so well until closer to Xmas.
Too early to say really, but initial response seems to be positive. Saturday was the first ever time ive seen people around the same age as me looking at TFs in multiple non specialist shops. One shop sold out of (Leader) Megatron and Prime in about three hours.
I have noticed that most of the stuff seems to be moving very well.
Two Targets in my area were stocked full of Robovision Primes, Leader Primes, and lots of Deluxes.
Went hunting after work yesterday. There are a few Robovision Primes left -no Leaders, and the Deluxes are mostly the Protoforms and Brawl.
Bumblebee and Barricade appear to go very fast.
