alsa, it comes in a spray can. looks GREAT! also, airbrush kits aren't too bad. i got an IWATA one for $100 NEW (compressor and spray gun), gotta love eBay sometimes.

Well there are two ways you could try it.
I used to brush it on a long time ago. It works but does not come close to the effect as airbrush.
Your other option, is to buy one of those compressed air can/ airbrush kits by Testors. They cost about 5 dollars. It like spray painting, but like airbrushing at the same time.

Other than that, you would be up sh^**s creek.

    Hope that helps.

If you are very young, I would seriously urge you to reconsider using alcad, for there are some undesirable side effects stated on it's label.

If so much as a molecule comes in contact with your skin, your face will melt. If that happens, wash your eyes with water and call a doctor immediately.

Seriously, I have no idea what the effect are, but yeah, do read the label before use. It can't hurt.

I've never used Alclad, but so far I've tried two other [cheaper] brands. Krylon Metallic Silver and Dupli Color Instant Chrome Finish. Do yourself a favor and skip the Krylon one. The cap, which indicates the color, is chromed so I thought It'd give decent to good results. I was wrong. It sucks hard. It's just silver paint, nothing more. Dupli color comes closer to real chrome though. When I look at the flat piece of plastic I sprayed the paint on, I can see myself...kinda like a blurry mirror. I've found the results weren't as good on smaller surfaces with textures and details on them though.

If you can afford Alclad, that seems to be one of the best product out there for chrome. If not, Dupli color is cheaper and can make for an acceptable substitute (on flat surfaces mostly).

I bought my Dupli Color paint at a car parts store called 'Canadian Tire' (Can you tell where I'm from?). Being in AU, I guess I'd check for 'Australian Tire' for the paint. Ok, that was a lame joke. But do check out places that sell car parts and/or paints. Or maybe the Australian equivalent to WalMart or something.

    Good luck!

Ohio? Just foolin' I figure since we are asking questions here I have had similar ones so I may as well get them answered.

This testors chrome silver, does it seal well to protect from chipping? I don't know anything about chrome but what is in the help sections.

I assume this Alclad stuff does the best job, but alot of my concerns with chrome is its durability, which I have never seen durable toy chrome ever. To me it isn't worth chroming something if it is just going to flake of with little resistance.
