I agree. This movie was awesome! Everything felt right, and Toothless was one of the best non-talking character in a movie like this.

    I might rent it.
I barely have any confidence in Dremaworks Animation since they usually have poop jokes and cukltrual refences in most of their films unlike Pixar films.

However, I liked their last good film: Kung Fu Panda > Wall-E in my opinion

So I heard. I'll watch it maybe in May with Kick-Ass and Iron Man 2 since school has started for me. I'm in college so it'll be busy for me til Summer Break.

But I won't watch it in 3D though.

The animation in this one has turned me off, for some reason it looks downgraded from what I saw in Shrek and Kung fu Panda; Ill wait for DVD on this one.

Just so people know, unlike Shrek and their other movies, How to Train Your Dragon is based off a series of books. There's not going to be pop culture references in it.

I though it was pretty good, does it deserve the 97/100 on Rotten Tomatoes? No.

I though Hiccup got kind of tiring after awhile.

I think you should go see it, it's pretty rad.

Honestly it's just nice that there hasn't been Shrek movie in a few years. And it's very nice they made Kung Fu Panda and this instead.

I haven't been to the theatres in a while, but broke down to see this. Glad I did though, since the audience was well behaived. Oh, and the movie was great to. I don't really have much to complain about- it was entertaining and should still be fun for adults without any of the Shrek style cultural humor. It was really amusing just to see the dragons acting like cats in a lot of ways.

Might go see this. If it's anywhere near as good as Kung Fu Panda, I'll walk out at the end happy.

But Shrek 4? Bleh, big pass.

Because Shrek has always been and always will be awful. Cultural references are not needed to make a animated movie good, and good films like Kung Fu Panda prove that.

I'll give it a chance. But I'm not really liking it. Almost like Avatar and Pocahontas - guy grows attached to group he's supposed to hate, clash of cultures, etc.

Shrek 4? Meh. I'll probably have to take my younger siblings to it. 3 was underwhelming, but 2 and 1 were great.

At least Dreamworks isn't whoring out some Disney Channel song like DisneyNature's Oceans. They screwed that film up dead and center doing that.

Pixar still has my money over anything else animated anyday. Especially with Toy Story 3 coming. If I had to pay double to see that movie over seeing both Shrek 4 and Dragon, I'd do it in a heartbeat.
