    Hi all,

I remember years ago getting a bunch of free transformers (including Scourge and a black/grey targetmaster)from a family friend.

The targetmaster is long gone (unfortunately...) and I don't think it was Fracus....but I still have that Scourge....Are any of the below by any chance a Targetmaster Scourge?

Probably not...but I just hoped that maybe there was a chance that one was! Heh. We all can dream...

    See pics :

Take any Target Master figure, if it fits in his hand it's a Target master Scourge, if the hand hole is too small, it's a regular Scourge. Same with Cyclonus.

My collection is in storage overseas so I can't check that. Any other telltale signs?

    As I said...its a long shot :)

That's pretty much it. Though the same thing would go for the top of his head. Larger hole = Targetmaster.

    Thanks anyways.

Come on there's gotta be someone who can identify better than just the hole in the hand...was there any other variations? Going by my pics all the holes look the same size. Damn. Looks like I'm outta luck...not Targetmaster Scourge... Heh

Oh ok. Thanks for letting me know I'm on the internet. :)

Cheers I hoped there would be some other kind of telltale sign other than the peg holes. Looks like theres no easy option...must purchase a Targetmaster Scourge in future (with Fracus of course)

I was thinking they didn't change the size of the hole on his head (I have the original and my brother HAD the target master). So memory is too shaky to be sure, but that's what I remember.

Actually, it looks like none of them are TM Scourges.

Later releases of G1 Scourge, and ALL of the targetmaster Scourges had blue stickers on the outside of their shells, not blue paint. All of those Scourges have painted wings, so they are all early variants..and Pre-TM

This. I can tell by the fist hole sizes that none of these are Targetmaster Scourges. Also, one major difference is the color of the light blue plastic. On regular versions, it's more of a light baby blue. On Targetmaster Scourges, it's more of a light sky blue.
