hi guys, first off i tried the search so appologies fro treading old ground here

i have an incomplete g1 swoop,im only missing the box,i bought a supposed reissue box off ebay but i noticed it does not say "encore" on it

does this mean the box is a KO?

also any advice on telling reissue boxes from g1 would be great,im aware of the differences between g1 and KOS but not g1 and reissues, specifically swoop

any help will be greatly appreciated, cheers

Simply put: G1 Swoop never actually received a reissue or an Encore version.

You do the rest of the maths.

well the box turned out to be ko of course!i though this much as a lot of people use the term "reissue" when its a KO

the guy sellin on ebay has a lot off stuff that he calls reissue, which tecnically is correct but a little misleading

i was unaware that there was never a real reissue of swoop,so if it aint g1 then its definantly KO

    cheers

The ko swoop is damn cool! I love that set. It's 99.9% like the 80s version.

I don't think ANY of the Dinobots have ever been re-issued, or Encored. But the blue KO-Swoop I got months ago was a nice one, I liked it better than the original.

Actually, Grimlock, Sludge, Slag and Snarl WERE reissued in 1991, in the European G1 'Classic' line (the gold box reissues). Very good quality and legitimate reissues they were too. However, Swoop was not reissued as a G1 Classic.
