There are a few unpleasant scratches on the chromed cornice on the chest of ROTF Japanese Buster Optimus Prime. I would like to remove them. What paint do you recommend?

you can send pieces away to get re-plated, but its cheaper just to buy a new toy

What about TFW member Bombatron. I have no clue what his prices are like, but you might want to contact him.

He also has a website Concepts in Chrome .

Alclad II if you can find it. Spray can or Airbrush. Airbrush seems to work better?

Good suggestion...but since his location is Russia....it might not be an option for him.
