Any help? I've been trying Total Recorder for 2 weeks to no avail. It never seems to recognize Skype at all, whereas everything else it can record.
If anyone can help I will love you forever

Just use a program like Audacity, set it to record and start your skype conversation.

All depends on what you are using the recording for.

Total Recorder can do it, but you need to look into the options and make sure that it records everything, not just your input.

If it is like what we do for the podcast, each person records seperately with Audacity, then gets everything synched up in Garage Band.

Audio Hijack Pro if you are on a mac is the best.

I'm on a PC, and making a call to someone's phone through Skype for an interview. I've tried Total Recorder, but after going through numerous settings, it says it detects silence from both the source (Skype) and my mic, whereas the mic works fine to record anytime else in the program.
I'll give some other of these programs a try, thanks for the help!
