*Spike is touring the Large Hadron Collider* Mikaela: Hey Spike, don't let that Allspark cube get too close to the LHC" Spike: I'll never let this Allspark cube get close to the LHC! haha *Spike trips* *Allspark cube touches LHC* *ZZZZT* *Transforming noises* Spike: Oh shi--
*ahem his name is still sam at this stage LHC is a ridiculous concept to bring into the movie(i believe the critical term for doing something like that is "overscience") and unicron is a demi-god i see where you're trying to come from here but it just doesn't work
I second that notion. I'm sorry... just how do you expect Michael Bay to put in a planet-sized bot in the movies?
The only way I would want to see Unicron in these movies, if he were to be more like a cross between his Cybertron toy and G1 Bludgeon. Essentially by name and some design similarities then. Make him an old warrior who's been traveling from planet to planet destroying whatever he finds. Also, make him just larger then Megs, but not too much larger, just large enough so that Megs has to look up to look him in the face. http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transformers-movie-discussion/189562-unicron-will-we-see-him.html
I have covered this topic in my thread: http://http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transformers-movie-discussion/189562-unicron-will-we-see-him.html
I think you could use Unicron's name like how the Greek and Roman movies will mention the gods without showing them, but I just don't think Unicron should show up in the movies.
Thats a great idea, imo. Hasbro could still make a toy for him too, and maybe even a Primus to go with him. Though both not actually being in the movie, in that situation, they would most likely be deluxe class figures then.
Funny, one of my complaints about Troy was how leaving out of the gods took the pathos out of Achilles' destiny. He was just an arrogant tough guy who suddenly died because he was shot in the heel. Anyway, the introduction of the Fallen and the promise of more Transformer backstory makes me hope there's a set-up for Primus and Unicron appearing. At least the Quintessons aren't the (direct) creators of the All Spark.
I like this idea planet sized unicron is a no go imo and this sounds good but isn't the fallen filling up this character archetype?
I don't want Unicron in any of the TRANSFORMERS films. He works great in the cartoons and the 1986 film, but I seriously don't see him meshing well in the Universe of the Live-Action films, unless, like other said, they made him the same size as the other TF's. Even then, they might have to create a new background for him. It didn't bother me in the least. I couldn't see how they were realize a character like Galactus in Rise of the Silver Surfer without creating another Subplot that would need some serious explaining and development during the film, which honestly wasn't their intention to begin with (given its secondary title card). Cloud-Galactus was alright with me. Just another carnation of the character.
