Yeah, probably the way you pronounce Prime, just with an a at the end. I also don´t like saying ¨preem-a' because that word actually means 'fine' in my language. :p

You have a vowel at the end of the word (a), forcing the vowel (i) before the final consonant (m) to use it's 'name sound' /eye/ = /preye-muh/

    If there was a double m, you'd get /prihmmah/*

*This is all supposing you don't have a strong accent :p

    Lol ;)

Not sure if this really belongs in a Toy discussion forum, but here is Mark Twain's Plan for the Improvement of English Spelling (100 years before d3wd sp34k):

For example, in Year 1 that useless letter c would be dropped to be replased either by k or s, and likewise x would no longer be part of the alphabet. The only kase in which c would be retained would be the ch formation, which will be dealt with later.

Year 2 might reform w spelling, so that which and one would take the same konsonant, wile Year 3 might well abolish y replasing it with i and Iear 4 might fiks the g/j anomali wonse and for all.

Jenerally, then, the improvement would kontinue iear bai iear with Iear 5 doing awai with useless double konsonants, and Iears 6-12 or so modifaiing vowlz and the rimeining voist and unvoist konsonants.

Bai Iear 15 or sou, it wud fainali bi posibl tu meik ius ov thi ridandant letez c, y and x — bai now jast a memori in the maindz ov ould doderez — tu riplais ch, sh, and th rispektivli.

Fainali, xen, aafte sam 20 iers ov orxogrefkl riform, wi wud hev a lojikl, kohirnt speling in ius xrewawt xe Ingliy-spiking werld.

Prime-ah for me as well. Given there's the precedent in how we all pronounce Prime in Optimus Prime or in Primus.

I figure it's using the latin root, rather than the italian or french, and so it would be Pry-ma.

Pree-ma would make a lot more sense from a spelling perspective though.

    It's Prime-ah.

That's how the Hasbroians were pronouncing it in the panel at BotCon.

it's pronounced Primer, like the paint :lol

Why would it be pronounced Preema? there's characters called _______ Prime and Prima is the forbearer of the Prime lineage, it's fairly easy to work out which it's supposed to be when you bear that in mind.

If it was supposed to be preema then it would be spelt that way.
