Is it Grin-dor, or Grind-or?
Why would it be Grin-dor? N b4 da Lock.
No reason in particular, just wondering, maybe he smiles? I never heard his name spoken in the movie and I want to tell my son who the light copter is - so it's grind-or, a play on "grinder"?
Pretty much, yeah
Yeah, the original Grindor was a skateboard so it was a play on how pro skaters would "grind" along rails. It's since stuck around as a generic name for Transformers like the evil copter from RotF.
It's pronounced "Carl"
Don't those sound the sameor?
Not to be confused with this guy grin door
Similar. Grine-dor puts more emphasis on the "Grine" while Grind-or evens it a bit. But both are the same for my purposes.. whether the vowel sound was as per "grind" or "grin".
I know that Shakin' Stevens wanted to know what was behind the Green Door but I think that's another thing entirely.
Personally I've always said it 'Grine-dor'.
dor or door?
Why did they name Blackout's twin Grindor?
Helicopters and skateboards don't match at all.
Grin-dor. That's how I say it.
Never liked the name....very gobots. Grind-or...sounds like a robot that's employed by starbucks...
Separate names with a comma.
