    Tigertrack - Transformers Wiki

I may be getting a spare Sunstreaker so I want to do this what-if custom without resorting to the simple solution of Sideswipe head.

A method I thought of was just removing the springs from Sunny's head and gluing them closed to the head (the way they are when his head is hidden away). It'd make him a little more unique from Sunny and Sides, but I can't help but feel that isn't enough.

Any suggestions? Keeping in mind I don't exactly have any major tools to my disposal. Nothing that can cut the ear bits.

The main thing for me when I made mine is that I not only wanted to swap the heads, but the gray parts for the white robot from Sideswipe parts too. There is a pin under the hood portion that has to be removed/replaced for that mod. That's the hardest part of the modification. The rest is unscrewing/screwing and typical parts-swapping.

How much would it cost for me to get the Tigertrack upgrade?

And to be honest, my aim here is to NOT do the obvious head swap. As I said, I would, in theory, just have an extra Sunstreaker. My option is to mod that head somehow, with little tools available. So I'm thinking I need to glue the head panels on in a certain fashion...

Are you going to paint the robot parts white since you only have a Sunstreaker then?

I don't have paint so that'll be a no. I think the fact that I'm not using Sideswipe's head is a sign that I'm not going for something totally accurate XD

Yeah. The main reason I keep mentioning the white parts is because when I did the simple headswap, mine looked like a Sunstreaker with a Sideswipe head instead of Tigertrack. Once I made the white parts swap, I didn't have that problem anymore ^_^

I wish you well on your project, btw :)  I think the head alteration is a good idea. :)

Why not just repaint a Sideswipe reissue?
