I've got MP Megatron, along with the upgrade kit, and I'd like to just hang him on a wall for display (since I fear transforming him very often). I've looked all over, and I can't seem to find the right kind of wall hook things to hold him and still look good.

Anyone else do this? Links to what I should get?

    Thanks
    Chris

    Hang him like a gun.

A nail by the hammer, the trigger ring and one under the barrell.

You can always make a wall unit with molded grey foam and a glass case.

Make one yourself out of wood. Have a wood Go through the trigger and two more on both sides of the barrel to keep it in place.

Strategically placed thin (but durable) wire attached to barely noticeable anchors, screws or some kind of wall mount.

Go to a gun store or specialty shop and see what kind of wall mountings they have. Since MP Megatron is actually larger than a real Walther P38, it may take some searching.

    ^agreed.
A gun shop/gunsmith could help you in about 5 minutes.
as expensive as MP Megs is, find a wood and glass case to put him in. Fool people into thinking you have an heirloom piece.

i used to have my G1 Megs with his attachments mpunted on my wall using just 3 naiils. One under the barrel, inside the trigger guard, and at the rear buttstock.

never budged an inch in 3+ years. i just am too cautious to do that with MP Megatron, though.

You could check out Hobby Lobby if you have one. They have various shadow box display frames that could work. I picked up a rectangle one for dad for christmas for 1/2 off, normal $35. They are with the picture frames.

This thread made me LOL. I found a high quality KO G1 Megatron I didn't know I had while I was cleaning this weekend. It has die-cast metal and chrome and looks identical to the G1 toy. I transformed it into gun mode and thought it would look good hanging on the wall. I'm just trying to decide which wall to hang it on. I'm just gonna drive about 3 small nails in the wall and just sit him on them. He should stay for the same reason a picture stays.
