As you're aware, Hasbro didn't like what Bay did to Starscream.

Of course, there are people here that would bet their reputations that the ONLY way Starscream could be represented is with ape-like proportions due to his mass.

But is that really true! First stare at a picture of Starscream, preferably the toy which is really accurate.

    Now, apply these changes -

Gadzooks! What have you done! That actually looks like Starscream without being Geewun!

What's important to note here is the biggest change - the arms! Just because you have extra mass DOESN'T MEAN YOU HAVE TO PUT THE ARMS EITHER SIDE OF THAT MASS. I thought this would be a no brainer. Instead, have his abnormally wide body angled backwards, kind of like big wings, or a back pack! And have his arms on front of that. The arms the way I have them aren't positioned exactly right, they still look odd. A lot of that is due to the way they're posed anyway, which only makes sense for wide side arms.

Of course, the toy I digibashed would have to be re-engineered - but let's face it, it needs to be. It's a nice toy but arms attatched to legs is a big no no.

Apart from that, I gave him the Geewun head which looks awesome even on the Trollish proportioned Screamer, and gave him a little bit of red. I know there's going to be millions of people who say THAT'S NOT AS GOOD AS THE VERSION WE GOT THOUGH SO HAH I SAY, HAH, but I guarantee that if this was the, and if this is the Screamer we get for TF2 and the same hype machine is in place, people would have/will lap it up. I don't know why you wouldn't want a Starscream that follows the same general pattern and look as previous Starscreams.

He's still a bit stocky, but at least it looks like him.

I love this design. And I barely did any work for it. This is a good day for me.

I personally like him the way that he is, and don't think that he needs to be "fixed".

    QFT.

Movie Starscreams fine, he was badass in the movie. (Even though he chickened out in the end, but he got some good fight time)

Oops, forgot to "rotate" the "wings":

Heck of a lot better than Mr. Stumpy up there.

I also find it amusing that a character design even Hasbro didn't find appropriate, and has physical features that contradict the character's personality, doesn't need fixing. You leave that shit alone!

I would like to hear why people prefer the Movie design better. Almost every time someone comes out with a more tasteful modification of a movie design to make it more recognisable, it's always met with "I prefer the movie design.".

Yet curiously nobody ever explains why...

Same here. The way he looked in the movie, the way he moved, flowed nicely with his movie personality.

So badass he only got one real line, and had a face not even his mother(Hasbro) could love.

    That's real hardcore badassery.

that looks terrible. thats why I prefer the movie design.

Nobody explains why they prefer the movie design?

I will. not trying to piss you off, but it's because your "fix" looks goddamn awful.
