Ever since Prime started I've always felt as though there hasn't been a young straight autobot in Prime and I haven't been pleased with how they've handled him so if you could swap out Prime Bumblebee for a G1 styled Bumblebee how would you handle him in the show with the existing characters?

No. This bumblebee is better. He acts like a kid just like G1 Bee but hes not a useless ball of metal.

This Bumblebee is better. I just want him to do something.

G1 Bee was that nice, pleasant fellow who made up for his lack of strength with pure heart. This one is like a toned down Movie Bee, a good warrior with some "funny" moments. But Prime Bee fits Prime, not G1 Bee.

Why would we want a G1 styled Bumblebee?

I don't dislike this Bumblebee at all, I just wish he was actually mute and not a beeping beeper who beeply beeps.

I think its an idea in the right direction however I like how Movie Bee sounded more. It was more human or emotive robo sounds.

It actually sounded like he was trying to speak instead of replacing his voice with something totally not voice-sounding?

    Yes.

Hire Jonny Young Bosch as his voice but what we've been told thus far of R2-Bee2's character seems good. It's a shame it's ruined (for me at least) by the damn beeping.

Yep, hire him and get Ratchet to repair Bee's voice box in the series and problem fix.

You know what would solve that? The writers saying he can.

Bumblebee never struck me as the young autobot, just the friendliest. If I was going to go for a G1 style, I'd make into a cheerful James Bond; an expert spy and infiltrator. Or, if you need a young character, use Hotshot. He fits better and could use the publicity.

They've described Bee as being rather young in the show.

But then we'd get more "Movie Ratchet is a terrible medic!" BS in the Movie Forum.

I'm sorry, but I couldn't really care less about what is said in the movie forums.

Plus I was being short. If they were to actually do it I'm sure it would be a lot more involved than Ratchet just doing it.

I at least want to hear Bumblebee's voice in flashbacks. Better throw that in the dreams pile with Arcee and Cliffjumper's partnership and Bulkhead and Breakdown's past.

Isn't that hammer suppose to be able to fix and create stuff? That's a perfect way for Ratchet to pull it off.

Sure, just smash Bumblebee's throat! What could go wrong?
