How to replace the broken CLIPS at the back of Fortress Maximus Waist Tower?

Need some advice on this. While trying to disassemble this Waist Tower, and I realise that there are 3 metal pegs nailed on the red plastic.

The clips at the back on the tower is broken. I manage to get extra clips to replace it but seem like there is no way to disassemble it for me to replace the broken clip.

    Please advise.

You can always use a soldering iron to remove the metal pins, but I'm not sure if I'd recommend doing that for those parts.

Thank for the reply. I want to replace the broken clips at the tower there. But find out it is impossible to do so.

It's not impossible, but just very difficult perhaps

The reason I suggested the pin removal technique is that it seems like you must remove the pins to disassemble the towers to get to the clips.

Another alternative would be to find a replacement tower portion.

I will opt for Pin removal. How do I start to do it? I see it has a very long pin.

I have the small hammer and what kind of tool should I use to do the pin remover?

Thanks. This one works on small pin. Not sure if it will work on biggest pin on Fortress Maximus' Waist Tower

Is it possible to drill out the rivets and then just screw/glue the new parts in place? There appear to be plenty of other screws holding it on anyway if you mess it up. Or is the rivet holding an internal hinge piece I can't see?

    ...

I'm not sure I'm even looking at the right thing. :p

I just fix this. Apparently, you need to open the inner part BIG enough so that the clips will fall out from the hole, please be careful when doing it else you will cause stressmark on the plastic.

My friend just passed me his Fortress maximus to fix. This time, I am not able to open it big enough to allow the clip to come out for replacement. Any suggestion?
