I was not sure exactly what this figure was, but after a little research I found that it was a Mexican Hoist produced by Iga. It has a Green Trailbreaker head instead of the usual Hoist head. I guess technically this is a Green Trailbreaker. Is this a rare figure? Should I waste time and money completing and cleaning it? Let me know what you think.

It's an oddity in the means that they were not made in huge #'s/ but at the same time...it is not going to make you rich or get huge gob's of $$$ on ebay either...it is just hoist with a different head....

so take that for what you will....

I don't know how the experts define "rare", but I can tell you that none of the nearly 500 members using my collection database own this toy:

    Ebay:
It's so common and worthless, Hasbro had to bury thousands in a landfill in New Mexico to get rid of all the extras.

I'll give you $5 for it though.

Its a nice piece, clean it up, complete it. Sells on ebay loose and nice for $75-100. Doesn't show up that often and is popular

Actually they are not that rare, unless you live in the US. I had at least 5 of these at one time when I was buying stuff from eBay UK, and Italy. Still a nice find though. FYI the orange and green plastic is a slgihtly different color than the regular US releases. So trying to find parts that would match is difficult. Also the missiles/head spectrometer have a lighter orange color underneather the chrome if you are trying to match them.

Here are some pics of the one I sold last year:
