really can't help you with how rare these may be but i have to admit.
I have Jake/Bear and I was pleasantly surprised with how cool the transformation is.

I only have the Alien guys, none of the humans. Which is kinda why I want the Taxxon to finally have all of the alien ones.

I always liked the fire beast mode for Visser 3.

Not certain about exactly how rare, but they're the last three I need to finish off the Animorphs series.

They're at least moderately difficult to come by, as I've had them on my "to get" list for a long time but haven't run across them. Granted though, I haven't really been actively looking for them... and I doubt many people are. :lol

EDIT: But yeah, that $110 from "Toyeast" for the Taxxon is ludicrous.

    Tri-Rex

I tried to get the Tri-rex but it never made it to the stores in my area so I figured it was pretty rare.

You should have called me back then, stores around me couldn't GIVE those things away. Nobody wanted them. Not even me.

I know this post has been up for a while, BUT.....

#1-The Marco/Beetle was in mass release in the USA. I wouldn't have called him rare at release time, but with how little of them appeared to be purchesed and are now on the secondary market, rare might be considered for the availability.
#2 & #3-The Jake/Stingray and the Taxxon/Alien were not released in the USA, but were in mass release in the UK.
    Hope that helps.

I don't know the value. They don't look that great so, I won't pay a lot much for them.

Thing is, I have never even seen them show up on eBay. Ever (except for the Marco/Beetle).

If anyone has the Jake/Stingray or Taxxon MISB then I'm interested in buying them, but given the unpopularity of the toys, I'm not willing to pay an arm or a leg to get them. PM me if anyone wants to get rid of the things.

I have yet to see anybody with these for sale (even when I attended BotCon '07 and BotCon '08). And I havn't even seen them on E-Bay. I'll post back here if I ever locate any. I have the Marco/Beetle in my collection (got it off the pegs at Wal-Mart). I myself am looking for the two from the UK.

I've had an autosearch set up on both eBay and eBay UK for the Stingray and the Taxxon for the better part of a year, with no results.

I'm sure they were more abundant when they came out, I remember BBTS had listings for them back when I bought my Beast Machines Night Viper from them years ago.

I'm pretty sure they did get Jake/Stingray in stock, but not so sure on Taxxon.

People have had these figures and have taken their own pictures of them, so we do know they exist. The real question is just how many of these particular 2 are floating around out there.

There are people that actually collect Animorphs?

I thought that line was universally ignored.
