are actually the arcee and starscream prime transformers? what a let down that would be.
Might be a better idea to ask your question here rather than start a new thread
Why would that be a let down?
Let down? Not a friggin' chance. New figures are always welcome, and these two recently revealed figures are at the top end of the ladder.
Of course, there will be the inevitible and over-hyped GeeWun repaints of them both because "Arcee isn't blue, dammit" or whatever.
Because some thought we were getting these AND Prime figures so it's 2 less figures than we thought?
Because some people have been waiting over 25 years for a G1 Arcee and will be dissapointed if it's still not happening?
Because some fans of Classics don't like Prime or movie designs, and are dissapointed that what they thought would be 2 figures they like aren't?
There's plenty of reasons for people to consider it a let down, take your pick.
Both are supposedly in Generations, while Prime will have it's own toyline.
Anything is possible, however. I'm hoping for a WfC Starscream.
Generations Arcee and Warpath are G1-based.
The Prime Arcee is in the "Prime" toyline, coming in October.
Not that hard to understand folks...
Where have you seen pics of this G1-based Arcee?
Perhaps you haven't? So people are just waiting for 100% confirmation before assuming too much. That shouldn't be hard to understand either.
The fact that it lists an Optimus Prime and The Prime Prime we just saw is part of a 2 pack I would think would rule out the possibility of these listings being for Prime toys. I do wonder with the Reveal the shield line turning into the TF3 line if the Optimus and Bumblebee aren't just tye Reveal the Shield ones in Generations packaging to keep them around longer.
No they arent. People are assuming too much anyway by claiming that the revelaed arcee is the prime one when actually prime figues are scheduled to debue at an entireley diffrent time.
Who is they and what are the not doing?
People are assuming too much:
1.) The people that "know" the revealed Arcee is the Generations one
2.) The people that "know" the revealed Arcee and the Generations one are different and both will be released this year.
One is right, and one is wrong, I don't know which is which yet, and neither does anybody else. There is not 100% confirmation either way yet.
ToyFair is next week.
We will find out then.
Toyfair begins Friday. Hopefully we have this same thread only three more times until then.
there was an entire argument thread about this before. Why is this happening again
Wow, what an unfounded sense of entitlement you have there.
People making assumptions based of vague listings in Walmart is one thing, but to feel "let down" when they don't turn out to be the figures you expected them to be... How about just chill out and be glad we're getting new figures of these characters? If you don't like them, then move along.
You should know by now Exo. Just like Foster said, it's gonna happen three more times before Toyfair.
I think you're attributing a much larger emotion to the feeling "let down" than other people are. So as you say "chill out".
I completeley agree glad we cleared that up
However i still think arguement 2 has slighlty more credance due to the disparity in release dates
While we still don't have confirmation, I honestly think it's most likely that the TFP figures aren't the figures from the Walmart listings. It just doesn't make any sense. TFP is getting it's own line in October, and it would make no sense for Hasbro to release them in Generations. It's also not likely that the Walmart listings are incorrectly named as Generations figures.
Again, we'll have to wait for official confirmation (probably at Toy Fair), but there is little doubt in my mind that the Generations listings will turn out to be something different.
Separate names with a comma.
