I'm 23 and have 18 G1 TFs (sadly enough only a small part of a bigger collection) so far but have only been into watching the TF cartoons and collecting the toys since 2006

Su-prise...they're the group who are several years into their careers.

(and that whole, 'growing up with' thing)

29 going on 30 in few months. I have a near complete set of G1 (only thing missing is Jetfire - mostly cause I'm so picky that I haven't found the "perfect" one yet).

Never took a liking to anything not G1-related. I've sold off any BW, RID, etc stuff that I had. Have not bought any movie toys (simply do not like the way they look) and probably won't.

Thank Primus for classics/henkei, alternators/binaltech and masterpiece - I love em, I want more of them!!!! Just got me a Shadow Commander and am looking forward to MP Grimlock. I might also pick up the Alternity figures. Sold a bunch a e-hobby exclusives just to make way for these truly awesome pieces.

ROTF is going to be a dry time for me collecting wise.

Just turned 26 so looks like I just made it into the larger portion of the demographic. My G1 collection is getting pretty big, been going at it intently for the past year or so, though I've been collecting for many years. Got a long way to go still.

As long as money problems don't arise I hope to have a mostly complete G1 collection together within a few years.

I only in recent months have wanted the Vintage ones, only 1 I had was Target Master Hot Rod [he was a hand me down from my brother] was not really into the vintage ones though since I always broke the ones my brother had.

Now I probably have maybe 20 or so of the G1 bots....

Well, I'm 35 (for 4 more days) and I have a lot more than 10 original G1s. All but a couple of my G1s are from childhood, packages and all. The newer stuff (G2 - present) is from working.

And yes, anything since G2 is new to me.

I'm 32 and truth be told I don't think I'd even be into this hobby if it weren't for nostalgia's sake.

33 years old and in the prime of collecting G1. I never had many opportunities to own or receive G1 Transformers as a child, so this is my "catch up" time now that I can afford them. This is one of the perks of life at this age. :)

I'm 31 and have about 120+ g1 guys. TFs came out when I was 7, and I still remember the commercials leading up to the launch of toys. The TRU in my area (clearwater Fl--19 & enterprise) opened in the same year and at that grand opening (with a Black Friday similar type line) I got my very first TFs: huffer + windcharger. Hooked ever since, even during awkward teenage yrs only to lose interest at the onset of the Beast Wars crap.
Got back into it about 5 yrs ago.

I'm 35 now and grew up with G1. Had a nice collection when I was a kid. Kept most of them which I still have today with boxes like Jetfire and Shockwave to name a few. Some were lost, but had to get those ones back plus new ones. I have over a 100 G1's probably closer to 200 with all the E-hobby's, Reissue's, ko's, and complete collection of colored G2 Dinobots minus green Snarl. I collect other lines too except for Beast Wars. Watched the cartoon everyday after school and was really pissed off when Cubs baseball was on instead. When G1 was over I was in high school and it was over for me too. Just got back into Transformers 3 years ago when I came down with the chicken pox and discovered all my old ones. Sat home for weeks and got hooked on ebay. Went downhill from there!

I am 30, I have about 150 to 200 g1's. As a teen I foolishly gave away my childhood collection (stupid, stupid, stupid). Since the new movies though, the daughter just fell in love with them, so I bought a large collection and I once again find my self knee deep in bot parts. Ahh, nostalgia.
