The reason I ask is because I just got my Takara Animated Arcee I bought off Ebay from a Tawain seller and she is missing one of her wings.

Keep in mind she is MOSC and all tape was intact as well as the plastic.

This is my second Takara Animated Arcee. The intent was to open and display this one.

Has this ever happened to anyone else???

I'm sure when these are being packed in their plastic people make mistakes.

Ugh! Why did it have to happen to the cursed toy of the year?

I doubt seriously it's gonna be worth mailing back to the seller to exchange. I'm sure I'll have to pay the shipping.

So any body else have missing part stories?

I have had two out of about 450 missing a piece. Only one I can remember specifically was ROTF Jetfire (missing a tailfin). Really stinks when it is an ebay item, and a foreign release at that, I feel bad for ya.

Now glued joints is another issue that I have had three times. Try to make sure that I always transform the product atleast once now before it goes on the shelf.

You sure do have bad luck with Arcee, didn't you have the BBTS problem?

The last Packaging problem I had was way back in the 80s lol. My mother brought Horri-bull for me and the head was missing. So we took it back to the store and I had to settle for that Crappy Powermaster prime:rock

Yep that was me...BBTS sent me a new one and it was perfect. Thanks BBTS!

I bought this second one to display and play with.

I am convinced that Animated Arcee in all her incarnations (Glossy, Matte and Takara) are all cursed!!!

I've never had missing parts, but i've had:
Lots of sloppy paint apps (I normally can touch them up, if not they get returned for a new one)
Two of the same axe for skystalker
Lots of loose joints on random figures (thank God for future finish)

So i can see missing parts can happen. Fortunately for me the above is easier to fix on transformers than DCUC.

What does the Takara Arcee packaging look like? You would think the seller would of noticed its missing a WING!! you can see it clearly from the box.

It only really starting happening to me in the last couple of years. And quite strangely missing wheels seems to be what I get. I've bought four figures with a wheel missing. I really don't know how to explain my bad luck with that.
TFA Starscream was missing his thumbs too.
Generally though it's sloppy paint apps, loose parts and cracked pin joints more than actual missing pieces.

Fate did try to balance things out a bit though and my Ransack had an extra head rattling around in the bubble.

Maybe someone will be happy to give/sell/swap you their Arcee wings as a lot of people I've read have said they won't be using the wings because they want a more accurate and G1 look for their figure.

I've only ever had one, TFA Sunstorm was missing one missile, but as I got him sent over here (we never got him) during the Target sale fiasco I can't really complain. :D

I've opened a few sealed G1's, I'd have been annoyed if they were missing bits.

I picked up a TFA cybertron Ratchet and when I brought it home, I noticed it was missing one of the paddle accessories. It was still sealed in the package and I'm usually good at spotting stuff like this before I buy it. I returned it the next day because they had like 14 Cyb Ratchets (no Arcees though; though I eventually did get one though)

Cryo Scourge had two of the same fist, but that's all. Once got a Tomy Z-Knight with the wrong instructions though.

The only figure I've picked up that was missing parts was one of the Aerialbots (I forget which one) from the RotF Target set was missing one of the landing gears.

I just picked up a Beast Wars Transmetal Scavenger/Inferno that's missing its instructions too.
