I <3 internet shaming.
Awesome serves them right. I hate thiefs. I still miss my zodiac.
Geez, what a bunch of punks.
ok can someone give me a small briefing what this thread is about, I dont feel like reading that whole site, its like a novel.
Hahahah... funniest thing ive read in a long azz time!!
Another site summed it up well
HAHAHAHAHA!!! Thieves are SCUM!!!
That is awesome, as good as the Internet account of the guy selling a Powerbook on eBay, and some guy in the UK trying to use a fake payment site.
I'll have to keep an eye on that. Makes you wonder though, those pictures are very clear, will they gain enough notoriety to be recognised in the street?
Thats pretty good
I love stupid people and the quick ones that point them out.
That just made my day
I didn't read but i guess it is as follows. Someone stole the phone then took pictures and posted them to the internet. This allowed owner to track down and have the theif arrested by the cops..
That was absolutely hilarious. I like how her video has nearly 200 pages of "RETURN THE SIDEKICK"
Someone needs to send our link to him to get it added to his list of supporters.
Humm, lot of web site are govering this. Try a google search on stolen sidekick. The thieves might as well give it up.
Let's Email this thread to those SIDEKICK THIEVES! Yeah, this humiliation is fun. What if someone saw them in public and was like "It's the sidekick thieves!! Get them!!"
Ok I've now read the entire thing. basically for those who haven't read the entire thing here is a summary.
The Author's friend left her T-Mobile Sidekick in a taxi. She had to shell out $300 for a new one. When she checked the log she found someone else had the phone and was using it. She sent 300 messages to please return the phone and offered a reward. They ignored it. The person had also taken lots of pictures with it too.
Well a lot of contact went back and forth. The Girl's brother claims she bought it from a cabbie. She says she found it. Basically it is all BS. So the guy finds their My Space accounts. The guy closes his.
Basically the just wants the friends phone back. They refuse to give it back and are bitching about harrassment.
Well he and his friend just filed a police report on the people..
Overall this shows how stupid people can be.
That is a great story and good on him for following this through!
I love smrt people who:
(A) are in possession on stolen property
(B) admit to be in possession of said property
(C) take pictures of themselves with said stolen property.
Good one guys! Well worth the trouble they have brought on themselves.
Score one for humanity!
Is it theft to keep something you find if you don't see the person leave it and it contains no ID? No, because it is unrealistic to expect someone to search for te owner like that when it could be anyone. But a cell phone is so easy to find the owner of, since nayone with half a brain can phone thier own cell phone and hope someone picks it up. But the making up multiple bullshit stories about it makes you an idiot. I'm not sure if it's necessarily stealing, but it is deffinately wrong.
Oh, come on. The sidekick likely contained enough personal information on the owner that, if this girl had had any sort of morals in her, she would have either prowled through the sidekick, found the original owner's contact info and returned it or at least given it to the police office or posted a "found" ad or SOMETHING.
That was my point. Read the last sentence:
"I'm not sure it's stealing, but it's deffinately wrong."
Separate names with a comma.
