A guy I work with found all these transformers in a box he had and new I was a fan and asked me if I wanted to purchase them from him. So some opinions I'm just curious how much I should offer him.

Ask him how much he wants for them, he's the seller. That is a pretty great find!

^ This. Though just from the pics itself, I would wonder what the condition of the joints were in for each toy. But that's just me.

How come I don't have friends like that?

Offer him $100. It seems low to me, but given the condition some of them are in, it might be a good offer. No more than $200, though.

I'd say $40-$50. Looks like a lot of missing parts and kinda dusty. Possibly broken in a lot of cases.

Offer him $50-100, with the transformations like that it makes many of the toys look floppy, these look severly played with and you can see bits missing on some. Cool find though. Blaster and Soundwave look good, and Sunstreakers are always good to come by.

I would definitely ask if there are any accessories - otherwise, 50-100 is fair. If some have accessories, you're gonna get a steal!

accessories are a deal breaker in that case, if there are none complete, you're going to spend a small (or large) fortune making them complete

I wouldn't pay any more than $50 for the lot. Doesn't look like any of them are complete.

And that Go-Bot in there drives down the price. LOL

I wouldn't go more than $100 for the previously mentioned reasons.

Not a buck over $50. All you end up with there is a bunch of incomplete TFs

$50 seems like a reasonable price, although bot mode pics to judge sticker quality would also help.

However, there appear to be some 'bots that are obscured by Roadbuster and the correctly transformed Soundwave. I THINK the one behind the trailer is Shockwave, but I can't be sure. Can you get a pic of the ones in the far corner?

Well I have been talking to them and he won't give me a price on how much money he said he wants for them. Asked how much I would pay for them at a yardsale. I said well at a yardsale or flea market I would probably offer $10-$15 for the whole box. But I said that just by looking at the picture and not knowing the condition , how they transform , or if all the parts are there. I made him a first offer of $30 hoping that he will take it :)  He's said he knows the prices on some of them Judging by "EBAY" i don't know if thats a good way to look at how much somthing is worth.

Anways I'm willing to spend a little more cause I am excited about the find :)

Actually, e-bay is one of the best things around to determine current value for just about anything, but you MUST look at completed auctions and not just one, but many. That being said, an offer of $30 is almost criminal. I'd go $60 out of the gate like some of the others have said. Also, unless you really, really want the figs., I would not even approach $100 until you got to see them in person and check them all out. Good luck!

I'm excited to say that I just made a deal to buy all of them for $30 !! Do yall think it was a good buy? When I go to get them will be the fun part. He says that there are weapons of all kinds in the bottom of the box. It could get interesting !

I'd say that was definitely a good buy, especially seeing as the collected value of everything there is several times what you payed, and that's not even taking into account the shipping that you didn't pay.

$30 is a very good price, indeed. I got my Soundwave, loose, with no accessories, no cassettes, and loose joints for $20, and you got two of him not to mention a bunch of other figures. Very good deal.
