Ok everyone the movie is almost here and it's time to ante up...

After checking the L.A. area for places to see the movie there is of course I wide variety of prices.

I'm not sure if should I go all out and spend $25.00 @ Citywalk and see it on an IMAX screen or stay local and see it in a stadium theater for $16.00.

    WHile I'm deciding....

I'd like to know how much you all are willing or already have spent to see the movie.

They are in higher-income areas, like New York or DC. :(

On principle, I agree with you...but I won't be seeing the movie for less than $10 unless I go to a matinee.

Don't bother, it isn't gonna be in IMAX.

Anyways, I'd say the whole $10 I paid on Saturday at the local theater for my July 2nd ticket.

If someone told me I could see it today, right now, even if it is a normal theater, I would pay $25 to see it.

$10. Why would I pay more?

I actually could go see it Saturday at a free military screening. So maybe nothing!!!

if I could see it RIGHT now, I would pay $50 bucks to get in for sure. I want to see it that badly :D

But a few more weeks to go, and I will be paying $50 dollars, but for 5 seperate tickets so I can see it 5 times :p

People will always pay more as an early viewing or early adopter tax. Always. If I could see it TODAY, I would most certainly pay that. Just like, I pay $600 every year for the best and greatest phone as soon as it gets released. I know full well that if I wait 6 months, it usually goes down by $100 or more, but who cares? I gladly pay the extra money not to wait. Lots of people do.

gosh, I hope you aren't talking about the iphone :lolol
you're in for a rude awakening if you thinkn the keynote speech and commercials are even remotely like the end product...I've seen it. Also, you realize At&T is the only service provider, and you have to subscribe to iTunes, and the entire front is VERY scratchable and fingerprintable plastic? good luck

    Back on topic -
    I paid $200 per ticket!

LOL heck no I don't want that POC. I bought every new PDA when they came out until I switched to phones. Since then ive had the Treo 650, Treo 700wx, Treo 700p, T-Mobile Dash, Cingular 8525, and now i'm waiting on my Blackberry Pearl. Yes I know the Pearl is cheap compared to everything else .... but this year is Transformers toy buying year. LMAO!
