How much would Gamestop give if I sold them these games?

I have a few things I wanna trade-in. Thinking about either Gamestop or somewhere else. This is what I don't want:

    • Ipod Nano - 3rd Gen (4GB) (According to Gamestop.com, the highest I can get is $30)
    • Transformers: Animated (DS)
    • Transformers: Autobots (DS)
    • Transformers 2: Decepticons (DS)
    • Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian (DS)
    • Nintendo DS Lite (Has stylus, but no charger)
    • City of Heroes/City of Villains: Good Versus Evil Edition (1-month trial ended)
    • Mario Power Tennes (Wii, UNOPENED)

The main offer at Gamestop (at the time this was typed) that I was aiming for is that I can get either 30% off if I put the In-Store Credit toward a new game, but only select games. I was planning on getting Soul Calibur 5 or pre-order Mass Effect 3 or pre-order Fall Of Cybertron.

Does anyone know (or estimate) how much they would give (for In-Store Credit)?

I need to know ASAP since I hoping to get a game at the same time I get the Blu-ray 3D for DOTM.

EDIT: If there's a better suggestion to trade in these games, please say what that place is.

You might get a little for the ipod, but don't expect more than probably 20-25ish for all the games. Don't think they take PC games anymore either.

You can't trade PC games at game stop and MMO-titles have zero value, once that code from your CoH/CoV box is used, it looses all value to someone else, it just becomes install data that you could easily download anyways.

Gamestop really doesn't do any good trade in values in my opinion. I think you may get like 30-40 dollars with all that stuff.

What the average going price for a used PS3 game? I know like, within 30 months of release, they give you thirty. But what about for an older game?

20-25 dollars total for the games. ($30 if you're lucky)

    Their selling system is questionable.

Just as a heads up, I asked one of the local gamestops what you'd expect in trade-in for a DS Lite with everything. They estimate $15-$20 tops. So yeah, I wouldnt take it there.

Probably not much. I sold an extra Pirates of the Caribbean game to them a couple of years ago and I didn't even get a dollar for it. And they won't take unopened games because there's a chance that you could have stole it.

Probably the most profitable option, but then there's the wait.

I think the best option is to go into a Gamestop location and try and find pre-owned versions of all those games and see what they want for them. You'll get 50% (if your lucky) of that number.

If he was going to go to the store itself, wouldn't it just be easier to ask the worker for the actual value instead of searching for a bunch of games himself?

Better to just go to the website(Gamestop.com) and look up the pre-owned prices on those games. 50% of that sounds about right.
