Curious to know how much money people will be giving the TF2 situation.

Average movie ticket price is 10 bucks

    Average toy price 20 bucks?

    Average DVD price 20 bucks.

How much money will Transformers Revenge of the Fallen get out of you working people of the world?

I bought a calendar for 6.99 at Target, so put me down for 7 bux.

I'll be seeing the movie three times, buying the DVD and getting at least one toy.

    Well on that scale

    30 bucks in tickets

    20 bucks in DVD

They've alreayd got 140 bucks in toys out of me, and I can honestly say that of what we've seen so far I'm only really intending to get 3 or 4 more (subject to pics of the newer stuff coming out)

    and 0 dollars in games.

    So say 300?

    Seeing the film for $4.50

Right now none of the movie figures are all that appealing to me but the G1 repaints of the Constructicons might just be crazy enough to jump on my want list in later waves so totally unknown on the toys at this point.

Might get the DVD on my Net-Flix to laugh at the director's commentary, but from what I read on the film it sounds like buying the DVD will be a pass.

Don't plan on buying the novels or comic books, so I guess right now $4.50 is my limit.

    Ebay:
    AUD overall at least 200
    80 for the 360 game
45 for actually seeing it(already seen once regular, gonna see again regular and one imax)
55 for sideswipe, soundwave and long haul
15 on legends optimus/jetfire(makes for a mad dashboard ornament)
and 5 on some robot heroes for my nephew

i'm getting a massive tax return in a few weeks, so i can justify my spending. hoo boy. might even end up spending more. and if people don't like it, good for them. i enjoy buying crap i don't need.

EDIT: also dvd which will come in around 25.

Bay can really get into himself some times and it's kind of funny stuff. Sort of when his ego starts to run wild not in some evil sort of way but in the funny sort of way some people can be too full of themselves.

If you've ever seen the show Red Dwarf the Bay commentary kinds of sounds like what Rimmer would do if he ever made a movie.

Because his movies are fucking awesome.

Also the character of the director isn't really in the top eschelon of priorities when it comes to making a movie going choice, although in fairness I think Tarntino is a douche and steer clear of anything he does.

My family and I are seeing it on Sunday, then we're all going again but this time with my aunt and uncle on the 4th of July. Also, I have three ROTF figures (Soundwave, Skids, and Sideswipe) and I plan to get many more with my school job and on Christmas. Plus, I gotta get the DVD of course; maybe I'll ask for the special edition on Christmas.

To date I've spent 360$ on ROTF from a combination of movie tickets and toys.

What was up with that kid anyway? He said "vern vern vern vern vern" after saying "This is easily...a hundred times cooler than Armageddon...I swear to God!"

Gonna see the movie atleast 3 times, I'm going to buy the PS3 game, I bought the Voyager Starscream toy and when I find Deluxe Sideswipe and Jolt, I'll buy them, too. I'm thinking on buying Leader class Optimus, but he's pretty expensive for a toy and I'll buy the 2 disc special edition DVD.

    So just calculate it :D

A lot, mostly from toy sales. Not to mention seeing the movie 2/3 times, the one t-shirt I've got so far, the prequel TPBs and other bits and pieces here and there.

There's one problem with me. Go seeing the movie 3 times and buying the DVD will probably be paid by my parents, but I'll have to buy the game, and the toys myself. I already have Starscream and now I only have € 50 left. I'll probably get money for passing my exams, so I'll have to work in summer to buy the other things.
