Certainly mine is still intact...
And yes, I think the term " Raped my Childhood" is dumb as well..
I really didn't like ROTF and DOTM was none to special but it hasn't effected my happy memories of childhood enjoyment with Transformers. I also hate the term rape being used in such a silly way.
None of mine. I grew up with beast wars.
I dont feel that way. Sorry. And Im 30. TF will always change, it took me a long time to accept it, but for me one of the core parts of TF is the artwork involved so.....
Man I thought I was gonna hate Megatron after SeanLongs sneak preview. Guess what? His look stole the show for me.
Were they what I wanted to the last detail? Fuck no. Was the experience fun, especially with Cullen involved? Fuck Yes.
None at all. It just happens to be yet another continuity in the same way all the other series, comics and cartoons have been; whether you enjoy it or not is something you have to decide yourself
Same here even though I did watch some of the original G1 episodes and play with some of the toys.
For me none. I grew up with G1 and this is not G1. It is its own thing. It hasn't affected my childhood in any way.
If your childhood is sensitive enough to be "raped" by Michael Bay, I feel sorry for you.
Zero rapeage here.
I feel 0% raped! He's done a lot for Transformers with these three movies.
While I stand firm in my assertion that Bayformers were the single worst comic/toon/toy adaptation made to the realm of live action movies, I don't feel like my childhood was raped... and I've never understood anyone who made such ******ed claims. The only "rape" that I think happened were on the levels of what passes for supposed literary & directorial talent. But overall I just lump the Bayformers into the same pile that I throw RID, Cybertron, Energon, Armada, Beast Wars, Beast Machines and most of the IDW comics: singular series that I don't like. While it's a shame that it took 6 years for Bayformers to finally wrap up, I really do view them as just one version of the overall brand, and just as I have done with the others, I'll sit tight until something that I DO like eventually comes out.
^ You have clearly never seen GI Joe my friend.
None, I grew up collecting Star Wars figures. I liked G1 when it came out, but back then it was still all Star Wars.
None. Everything was consensual.
I did, but I just don't care enough about GI Joe to be bothered about how lame the movie was. And for as much as they got brutally wrong with Joe, we more or less at least still knew who we were looking at in posters & online images without needing to see names printed underneath or get into 25 pages worth of debate on forums about who character X or Y is. And that has happened consistently with all three TF movies. "That's Starscream! No... wait, it's Megatron! No... wait, it might just be a protoform. Hey, I saw Mudflap! No, that's actually Ratchet! Hey I think I saw Jazz! No, that's Barricade buddy! You're both wrong, it's someone called Sideways!" That kind of shit got seriously annoying over 6 years, and imo, should have NEVER happened. I'm all for character reinvention, but they could/should have at least left key defining design and/or color traits on most of them the way they did with Bumblebee, Prime, Ravage & Shockwave. So by that standard, even compared to that mess of a GI Joe movie, I still think Bayformers dropped the ball worse.
I had more Joes than Transformers as a kid.To me when the first live action movie came out I hated the design of the Transformers.I still do.They were animal in some ways.I wouldn't say that Bay raped my childhood just screwed around with it.I love Gen 1 a lot more.
dude i grew up on armada and those other shows after that so... to me this was better than my childhood
Transformers is a live action version of all the TF series. Besides i had no ideas that the dvds had the genetelia for it
