Yeah, I'm tired of seeing the same animated lineup at TRU everytime I go.

Hard to say because I've done a lot of trades, but for cash that I've spent... probably in the 600$ range...

God - I don't even want to imagine... I honestly have near or over 1000 Transformers (Complete US G1 + some Euros and Japanese), and mostly complete lines all the way from G2 up through Animated (although I only have about 5 movie figures...)

Then let's just say an average of $15 a figure, which we all know is a lie lol, that would be $15k+ over the passed 20 years...... It's better not to think about it =D

Ballpark: $600. That's over the past year (in which I obtained the VAST majority of my collection) and on a grad school salary...which is a bit daft really. Although I'm glad I'm not pushing quadruple digits yet!

And it doesn't even count $115 I've spent on TFs as gifts to other people, although in turn some of mine (including my only Leader) were gifts.

One thing I am proud of is rarely paying more than retail for a figure, and NEVER paying more than retail + reasonable shipping.

I really don't wanna know...

I don't even bother keeping track anymore. If I did start adding it all up, I'd probably end up in hospital with a heart attack... :lol

I've been too scared to try calculating it...my best guess would be somewhere between $3000 and $4000.

I really couldn't give you a exact figure but I'd say around 5g at least with all the TF's I have in my house.

I insured my toy collection for approximately USD $28,000. (No joke.)

TFs probably took up USD $25,000 there. :p

Me and my girlfriend recently did an inventory on my entire collection. Organized everything by line and class and put it all in a spreadsheet.(Was her idea, she's one of those "OCD" types and she hates things to be un-organized.) I also marked the price of each item. As of the last update, I've spent about $6,700. Sometimes I wish I didn't mark the prices on this list...

Only re-started TF collecting recently back in August 2008 and till date, according to my spreadsheet on toys expenditure,
it comes to about US$ 4500 or so, and it's only restricted to Transformers stuff.
Wow! Seeing this amount in one lump sum spent on TF toys is really shocking....
