i got one without its box or instructions

but the figure still has all its parts as well as all parts to both lower arm mounted blast shields and it also has its missiles

any idea how much primal prime might be worth like that?

I had one for $80 on the boards but no one bit. Maybe ebay. I hate ebay.

I'm glad I bought mine for $30 MiB a few years back :)

It's a great figure for whoever's interested in getting one. This is also coming from one who isn't a BW/BM fan particularly.

Awesome figure. I regret buying it a few years back for cheap. Now he's too expensive to buy.

$80 to $100 sounds right but I think the demanded isn't there for the figure right now, most new collectors have no idea who he is. I've wanted one for years but just not enough to drop a $100. He's like Metals jaguar, holds his value but nobody is dying to have him. Better off holding on to him till some BW resurgence happens

He regularly goes for about £20 - £30 on eBay UK. Was he just incredibly rare in the US or something? The prices you guys are throwing around are shockingly high IMO!

No he wasn't. He was a general retail release. He didn't get that much distribution in the US for some reason, however. Mainly found in stores like FAO Schwartz, TRU, KBToys and EToys.com

    Ebay:
Huh, I bought mine for about £8 a few years ago at a UK flea market.

Selling him on, he's only got two parts of his shields and and missing all other accessories though. price is £20 UK all together inc p&p. He's been hanging around in a box ready to go for a few months now but the bloke who wanted him didn't get back to me.

He was heavily featured in the convention storyline, but neither he nor Cryotek were convention exclusives. TFWiki states he was "limited to 10,000" but doesn't say where he was limited to.

Oops.  Got my wires crossed. I knew Apelinq was a convention exclusive; for some reason, I was thinking that Primal Prime was also. (It may have to do with the fact that I remember seeing Optimal Optimus in stores, but not Primal Prime.)

I remember buying mine from Woolworths for a tenner. I already had Optimal Optimus and normally I wouldn't buy a recolour, but for such a hefty cool figure it was worth a punt to just buy and keep MISB.

If memory serves didn't Primal prime see a release toward the end of the BM toy line? If so that would explain why he was hard to find, like E. Omega Sentinel.
