This far we've had:

MP10- £95
MP12- £68
TFC Eagle- £55

Then we had

TFC Blackbird- ~£120

which quickly turned into

TFC everything- -£180

which meant about a £50 loss because TFC's handywork is shit. Then I bought MP11 instead to sate my need for a jetformer:

Plus Prowl and Bluestreak preordered:

MP18- £45


Which brings my total for the year thus far to about £403. Not too bad, if I ignore the £50 loss... (that'd make it £453)


Moral of the story: steer clear of TFC, their work really isn't MP grade.

 

Four months in and I've yet to spend ANY money on TFs this year.

 

I actually have a spreadsheet on this.

Last year I spent $5,225.79.

This year I am up to $1,559.60. Probably on par with last year. Hopefully not more.

I don't like seeing those numbers so clearly, tbh.

 

I too have a spreadsheet of what I sell and what I buy. I try not to ever spend more than what I sell. So far this year, which to be fair was my year of getting back into TFs, looks like this:

But since I only collect Hasbro, I think it should be fairly manageable within my $100 per month budget. Might exceed it in July(SDCC) and November(Castle Greyskull/MP Soundwave/Metroplex)

I agree which is why I learned loooong ago to buy the figure and forget about the money you spent on it. It is the only way I lasted this long as a collector (since 95)

I have officially begun selling parts of my collection so I really hope that that can fund my new figures.

And we all know Hasbro has yet to anounce everything, Takara will always throw out more news (still 3 months left in the year for MP releases and there is at least one LARGE sized figure to be released) and then there is 3P.... they consistantly pop up with new awesoem stuff.

I do love this hobby though, I just need to find another 4 jobs to support it. lol
