I have Lugnut, Highbrow, and the scout class Ransack & Hubcap. Aside from the redeco of Ransack and the upcoming one of Hubcap, are there any other TFs out there with retro-style alt-modes?

Also feel free to speculate on what might be awesome for Hasbro to do down the line. I'd love to see a Model-T transformer...

Well you can count on the G1 Combaticons, they were formatted from WWII arsenal.

I always wished that they would have stayed WWII vehicles :(

    Someone needs to customize one.

There's a turbomaster (one of those old G1/G2 figures that had little spinning rotors) that turns into a single prop Corsair I think.

I wasn't aware that the Space Shuttle existed during WWII.

    Haha.

I suppose the harley looking scout that's out now would work too, plus the 70s movie BB, but his robot mode looks like ass.

Lugnut is based on ww2 bombers
    G2 Ransacks a ww2 plane
ROTF HighBrow is also based on a ww2 design

Well, there are always the Dinobots and various other prehistoric BW-era figures. Those alt modes are pre-WWII. :p
