My names Michael and I've been playing drums since I was about 5 on and off, and for the past 7 years it's been an ongoing passion.

I play a variation of metal, funk, and pretty much whatever comes to mind.

    So let's hear it...sound off!

I play keyboards; I own my own small studio. I also write, mix, engineer and produce the music for my band (hardcore Industrial techno). I've been playing and gigging clubs since about 1994. I also write all the soundtrack material for my animations.

Use to play the alto saxophone in junior high school. And use to play the piano for a number of years as a kid. Too busy to do any of that stuff anymore.

I started playing drums when I was 10 guitar at 14. Since I never had a drumset, guitar became my main instrument. I don't get to play much now that I have 2 kids and work so much, but I still love it.

    I have -a 6 string Jackson electric
-6 string nylon string classical guitar
-black 12 string Fender elec/acoustic(best christmas present from my wife ever)
    -and this beast

I quit playing (semi-professionally) about 10 years ago as the lifestyle wasn't what I wanted anymore. Started collecting guitars, rather than playing them. Sadly, these have been packed away in storage for 5+ years.

    My favorites:

    Paul Reed Smith Custom 22
    Carvin DC400
    Rickenbacker 360
    Gibson ES-175

    My others:

    Les Paul Classic
    Les Paul Custom
    Fender Am. Std. Strat
Fender Am. Std. Strat w/ Roland Synth electronics
    Rickenbacker 360 (12)
    Gibson 335
    Gibson SG
Carvin Bolt (one of the kits you put together)
six acoustics, all various Ovation models

basses - Fender P, J, and an old Gibson Ripper

Ive been playing music for 18 years now. I started out when I was 11 playing the Viola and the stand up bass. At the age of 12 I received my first electric bass and Guitar and have been in bands ever since. I am currently in the Badass metal band TornBetween. Heres the myspace link!

I used to play the piano a lot but then moved on to acoustic and electric guitar, now I concentrate on playing my banjo.

Yes I said banjo, I play mostly bluegrass but I'm trying some bluesy and folksy stuff too.

Requires some darn skill to play too. A buddy of mine had a banjo and I thought I'd be able to pick it up and just shred on it... after about five min, I was like, "ok, I have no idea what to do with this thing."

I play the bass guitar in a garage band. We mainly play old stuff like Black Sabbath, Allman Bros, Dokken, Kiss etc...

I play the aucustic guitar around the house. Most of the stuff I know on the guitar is Pink Floyd and Beatles tunes.

I play the guitar, but I would in no way consider myself a musician.

I took piano lessons for a few years when I was a kid. Never really got down with reading the music, so I basically play by ear. I also taught myself how to play the theme to the movie That Thing You Do and the intro to the Transformers Theme from the orginal movie on the drums.

I've been playing guitar off and on since the age of 15.

I've got a K. Suzuki acoustic guitar (rare as hell these days) and a lefite Ibanez RG-series electric guitar.
